HP T3000
Am trying to get a HP T3000 QIC drive to work with W2k Advanced server.
Anyone know of drivers or S/W that will recognise the drive.
thanks.

Re: HP T3000
Windows 2000 does not support this drive not do most of th backup applications. The drive is floppy-based i.e. hooks to the floppy controller. None of the software that came with the drive will work on W2K adv server.
If you are serious about backing up your server and data, try to get your hands on a DDS or DLT technology drive. Travan is nice for home use but not in a business environment.
regards,
-Cal.
