Hardware compression on DLT vs 80
I have one DLT1 (DLT vs 80) each, external and internal. The drives are attached to NT servers (NT 4.0). There is no selection button on the device to select/ unselect hardware compression. I am told that hardware compression is enabled by default. If it is so, how to unselect hardware compression?
Further, when backing up through NT backup utility, the option for hardware compression is disabled (greyed out)on the screen.
How do I enable hardware compression on the drive ?
