Hardware fault code on tape library front panel

Hi Friends,
I have got the below error:

Hardware fault code on tape library front panel code = 8001 (soft) cartridge load recovery failed
-------------------------------------
How should i go ahead analyzing this issue? Thanks in advance.

ok what model is the tape library?

- find out the manufacture and model of the device
- look in the service or user guide for LED codes if there is a section
- try powercycyle the device
- Is the device supported - if so log a hardware call
- and check google search for model LED error etc.

Have powercycled the library and the fault code disappears. Thanks for your input.
