How do I match firmware in DLT Library 2

I have a DLT Library II that has two 35/70 internal tape drives in it, one was replaced and now the firmware is different, how do I flash these and at what firmware version should they be using, this is a compaq 6500, WinNt4.0server, Arcserve 6.5. Is it a certain softpaq or is it a special tape with the flash on it, compaq techs in my area are puzzled, tech support was not able to help either. ? help

Is this a 15 carterage model as the latest firmware for these is v80. What is the firmware on the drive you just replaced. Firmware can be flashed with the tsmc or a fup tape. tsmc works on nt. It is a little program that can download and flash firmware on dlt drives. If no other way works compaq can send fup tape with firmware image on it.
