Model number?

Here's a page that points to documentation on how to install/setup SDLT tape drives, both internal and external.

Re: How do I set the SCSI ID on my SDLT1 tape drive?

Hello,

Usually if it is external, it has switches with a number to increase/decrease it. If it is internal, there should be jumpers which change the ID according to the bit set. If it is SDLT 1, it's a LVD device, which can have from 0 to 15 as ID except 7, which is reserved for the controller. There should be 4 jumpers to control this ID having value of 8, 4, 2 and 1 respectively. Example, if you need ID 3, put a jumper on the third (2) and fourth (1) jumpers to have 2+1=3 SCSI ID and leave the first 2 unjumpered.
