Re: How to fix 20/700 Library
Hi,
Only thing I can suggest is to make up some
wooden feet for unit to sit on, so that it
does not move. I'm afraid of got the same
problem, but I'm not in an earthquake zone.
Cheers
~Michael~

Solution
This is covered in the 20/700 installation guide.
See the section 'Preparing the Library Location (Seismic Areas)'.
It says:
"For sites in areas of seismic activity, the customer may wish to permanently fix the library position for added stability. The wheel assemblies must be removed and the wheel mounting studs used to permanently fix the library's position. Refer to Figure 2-3 for locations of the wheel mounting studs."
(Also observe the caution on bodily injury/equipment damage).
Do not weld to or otherwise modify the library frame.

The journey IS the reward.
