Hp DAT 40 - Windows 2000

Anybody know how I can use the NTBackup utility and DAT 40.

I Have install the DAT 40 Driver, and it appear in the Hardware list but not in NTBackup utility

Hi Stephane,
I Think what you need is the TapeWare Software to backup. Also make sure install Windows 2000 service pack 2 for this software to work properly.

I don't want using the tapeware software come with the tape drive. I prefer use the NTbackup utility from Windows 2000

(The end customer preference !)

Stephane,
please check if RSM service is running (Removable Storage Manager). Maybe NT backup is basing on it.
