I/O error ON DLT8000 firmware
I have an error message upgrading the firmware on a DLT8000. The error reads I/O Exception (error:2131 - I/O: Unknown ASPI error condition) Any one got nay ideas

ASPI is a SCSI interface standard - perhaps recheck that all your SCSI cables are fully seated and firmly screwed in. (Including terminator where required by the particular bus type.)

Thanks for the reply but the tape device seems to be working ok and the backups are working ok now. I just cant update the firmware unfortunatly it is on a remote site and I can t check the cables.
