I can´t get my VS80 to work correctly

The machine cant find the media type in the slots.

The machine pickup the tape but after a minute the drive stoppes with this error messages

I got the VS80 connected to a dedicated SCSI card.

I attached a doc with all my settings

This is the error message i get.

Just to be on the safe side -->

You can use the "sanconfig" +option command line command to automatically reconfigure the device correctly by searching for it by sn - also you should be aware that RSM (removable storage mangement) might be interfearing with the communication of ommniback and the 1/8. - besides that it might be woth checking if ltt can write to the media and if the media has been initialized and made part of you media pool - ie does a manual bu work but a sheduled one fails ?? - pls give some more info
