Installation of TapeLibrary EML71e and EVA8400. Management ports.

Do both require Ethernet connections to management ports to install them? My understanding is that a physical Command View Server is needed to manage them. Thanks.

Hello,

the EVA8400 is in-band managed, you don't need any ethernetport for it. It's managed over fibre-channel with Command View EVA. The EML71e needs ethernet ports for management.
