Interface controller for MSL6030 - PL HELP

We have MSL 6030 Tape Library with TWo SCSCI drive (960 Ultrium )

I have network Appliance NAS box (IPSAN)with FC interface, I can not connect my NAS box directly to MSL Library as MSL Tape Library has SCSCI interface.

Is there any interface controller which can be inserted in MSL tape library to upgrade from SCSCI interface to FC interface...This way I will be able to connect the TWO box..

Hi,

Yes. You need to install the e1200-160 or e1200-320 card.

Take a look at the QuickSpecs here...:

Looks like you probably need part number AD577A.

Hope this helps,

Regards,

Rob

Re: Interface controller for MSL6030 - PL HELP

For a standalone tape, you'll need a Network Storage Router:

The NSR has two Ultra320 SCSI connectors. Just connect your tape drive directly to it...
