From now until the end of July there are some rebates on MSL Libraries from HP. Rather than keep the old library I'd look at a new one. Between the rebate, what you can get selling the old one and what you can save by having the new library under warranty instead of paying maintenance on the old one, it may come close to the price of your upgrades. Then you have the latest and greatest.

OOps. Forgot about this. HP has a trade-in program. Read about it here:

It's usually not a lot but, it helps to offset the cost of new hardware and get rid of the old.
