L&TT and Server 2003 SP1
I know there are problems with the block size, but running L&TT and doing a scan makes the server crash with driver errors.
I need to update the firmware on the tape drive but without L&TT I don't have access.

Re: L&TT and Server 2003 SP1
Hi Jordi,
It's usually a driver problem that causes the crash so it would be worth checking all your SCSI based drivers are up to date.
LTT is tested extensively on Windows so this is likely to be a fairly unique configuration in some way. We'd like to know more.
If you don't find anything with your drivers could you please set IO history on in the LTT preferences, re-run the scan and send the Eventlog.ltt file (from LTT's logs directory) to the LTT support team at LTT_team@hp.com.
We'll see if we can find anything wrong.
Thnanks for bringing this issue up.
Richrd (LTT team)

It's more interesting when it's gone wrong

Re: L&TT and Server 2003 SP1
Hi Jordi,
Could you also get us the information about the configuration you have have. We would like to know the hardware setup you have got like Server model name, the SCSI/FC controller, SCSI/FC driver you have got and the device that you are using.
Please send in these details to ltt_team@hp.com.
Regards,
Srivathsan
