L2000 and Tape Drives
Hello!
Want to connect 2 tapes drives (Sony AIT-3) to a L-2000 (A5191A). Was wondering whether A5150A is my fastest throughput option or can I use a A5856A for tape drives?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Emil

Re: L2000 and Tape Drives
Hi Emil,
Both controllers are Ultra2 SCSI, but the A5856A is HP's RAID 4si controller. As per the install notes for the RAID 4si controller, it supports SCSI Disk drives (no tapes).

Hope this helps,
