Can someone tell me if there is a maximum number of rewrites for LTO 3 Ultrium RW 800 GB tapes pn C7973A? Is there a best pratice question rule of thumb?

Hi John,

If you look at the QuickSpecs for Ultrium tapes here:

http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/11529_div/11529_div.html

They state "Ultrium media is certified for 1 million passes or 260 full back ups"
