Re: LTO Ultrium-1

TrungVT,

USe the HP LTT (Library Tape Tools) software to see if everything is fine with the tape drive. If there is a hardware problem, log a call at HP.

best regards,
Kurt

Re: LTO Ultrium-1

Hi,
Try to clean the drive with cleaning cartridge. If it doesn't help, you mentioned 2005 purchase, may be still in warranty! Contact Hp support to get it checked/replaced.

Re: LTO Ultrium-1

Hi

Try following:

1. Clean the drive using cleaning tape
2. Update the drive Firmware to latest using Tape Tools (LTT)

3. If above steps dont help, call local HP support provider

Re: LTO Ultrium-1

Thanks all,
- I used Library and Tape Tools and result the following: "Testing has completed and no problems were found"
- I updated the drive firmware, cleaned the drive, changed cable SCSI, port SCSI, and new cartridge was used, but that situation still happend, you can view the attached file, maybe I must call HP support :(
