Legato and different SDLT drives
I need to do a restore using Legato with a tape that was created in one of our regional offices. When I'm trying to restore when the tape is in one of our drives here, I get media errors, but when the tape is back in the original drive, it works fine. The one difference we can find is one SDLT is running on Firmware V075 and our firmware is V085.
I've rung support but I'm told the tape drive is unsupported.
I'm obviously now worried, because if we ever loose the tape drive in the remote site, I can't restore any data using a new tape drive!!
