My question is in the topic. So, basically I've this library: MSL g3 2024, and now I'm using a LTO4 drive Ultrium 4 SCSI, I wonder if I can simply change the drive to LTO5 to increase the capability of may backups?

Thanks, but I have another question. I want to use a SCSI ,drive but from what i see there are only SAS LTO5. Is that right?

SolutionFrom the same link:
8 Gb Native Fibre Channel
(LTO 6, 5)
4 Gb Native Fibre Channel
(LTO 6, 5, 4, 3)
6 Gb/sec SAS (LTO 6, 5)
3 Gb/sec SAS (LTO 6, 5, 4, 3)
Ultra320 LVD SCSI (LTO 4, 3
only LTO3 and 4 are available with SCSI.
