Loading a tape into a drive

Hi I have an old DTL 4000 lib and wondered what command I can use to get the robotic arm to load a tape into a drive. As i need to FBACKUP some data

Robert,
the command is 'mc'. See 'man mc' for help. If you need to do it fast and do not want to set changer up in OS (if not yet), then you simply can use library's front panel to load a tape

If your using HPUX, you can use the attached document to set up a robot control device.
