Low throughput

I have a backup up DLT Array which houses two 15/30GB DLT Tape drives and two 20/40GB DLT Tape drives. We use Cheyenne ArcServe 6.0 with RAID option for backup. We use RAID "0" and on the set consisting of two 15/30GB DLT, I get throughput of 110MB/min while on the set of 20/40GB DLT, I hardly get 14MB/min. I added these 20/40GB DLT tapes recently. What steps are required to get more throughput. I appreciate any reply.
