MSL 2024 with LTO-4 800/1600GB SCSI?
I just tried to upgrade our MSL 2024 which has the 200Gig drive installated to use an LTO4 Ultrium 1760 with 800/1600GB.
The device now always says, that it has an unsupported drive installed and it doesn't work.
Is there a chance to get the 1760 runninig in the MSL 2024?
Thank you in advance!

You need latest SW to support latest Drives
Upgrase the FW using L&TT

I've upgraded the firmware to 4.00, but the library still says "unsupported drive" ?

Did you use the upgrade kit, or did you use a different LTO4?
also if you have a support ticket, attach it here an I will have a look
