MSL 4048 chain

I have SAN solution with two tapes drive MSL 4048. each one is connected to files server via SCSI connection. I am wondering if it is possible to daisy chain (connect the tow drive to each other) the tow drive and present BOTH of them to the two server, so I can see then within the Data Protecto application. What I am trying to achieve here is to ba able to conduct copy (Media тАУto- Media) after full backup for offsite storage. Please let me know if you any idea.

Thanks.

Re: MSL 4048 chain

Please explain the topology in a little more detail. Are these SCSI or FC attached? Is there a switch involved?

What speed are the drives. The slower drives can be daisy chained but the faster ones shouldn't be.
