If your hardware is under support or warranty, place a hardware call.
If your hardware is not under support or warranty, find some money... and place a hardware call.
Post in a tape hardware forum, rather than a tape software forum.
Good Luck.

Omniback and NT problems? double check name resolution, DNS/HOSTS...

Re: MSL 5000 series Picker Jammed error code 3100
Hi,
The full description of the error according to the Maintenance and Service Guide is:
The picker jammed during a bin stow operation
Steps to recover are:
1. Press Enter to reboot.
2. Cycle power to the library or reboot by using the LCD touch display.
3. Make sure there are no obstructions inside the library (all cartridges are in magazines).
4. Make sure cartridges are fully inserted in the magazine(s).
If you've done all that, then log a fault call as previously advised.
Cheers,
Rob
P.S. Joseph: Who said this was a software only forum ??
