MSL 6030 Problems with Windows 2003
We are facing a problem with HP MSL 6030 storage drive - (MSL6030 1-dr, Ultrium 960, FC, RM Library)
The library is connected to a proliant 380 G3 server with 2GB Fibre. From the server, with LTT we are able to see the tape library MSL6030 Changer and the NSe1200-160 FC router but not the tape Ultrium-LTO-3 tape drive.
Attached the Connectivity Diagram for the reference.
Is anyone can help me??

Re: MSL 6030 Problems with Windows 2003
1) Perform Configuration
5) Device Mapping
5) Edit Current Map
3) Clear Map
4) Fill Map
X
2) Display Current Map
In the current map you should see the drives.

FC lun |Port| Type |stat| Protocol spec
---------------------------------------------
0 | 0 | CHGR | UP |b=0,T=0,L=0 MSL0 516
1 | 0 | TAPE | UP |b=0,T=1,L=0 Ult3-scsi

Does that seems fine?

Re: MSL 6030 Problems with Windows 2003
Is it normal that we don't have a single tree instead of 3 separated products ? From my understanding they are on the same bus !?
