Re: MSL 6030 drive frimware upgrade
There is a way to update from the web interface if these are LTO-based libaries, and you are on a minimum firmware level.
Is this LTO1, LTO2, or LTO3 drives?
What library code are you on?
We don't normally distribute the drive file format that the RMI can use, but I can provide you with the files if you would like to try the procedure (there a few steps that need to be done to copy the file via ftp to the library first).

Re: MSL 6030 drive frimware upgrade
Greetings & G'day...
I have a requirement to get the FTP F/Ware file G65W for LTO3 Ultrium on an MSL6030., as L&TT isn't installed at the customer site and there is a very lengthy process to comply with to install L&TT (Change request etc). Though that process has been initiated already, we don't know how long it is going to take. Meanwhile we are under a bit of pressure to upgrade the tape drive to G65W. Can anyone help with a link to the FTP file for G65W so that the local CE can upgrade the tape drive through RMI connectivity.
Thanks in anticipation of a quick response.
Kind Regards,
Shyam Aiyer.
