MSL 6060 Fault

dear Experts,
We have a MSL 6060 Tape Libary with two Ultrium 960 drives. For last few days when i power cycle the library it gives "Fault code: 3032 (soft) Chasis S/N character count is not correct" error msg.
The library is scsi attached to a IBM P505 server.
Any help will be really appreciated as i am really fed up now with this.

A valid serial number bar code label
could not be read.

Corrective action is to Press the Enter button to clear the message, and Contact Support.

If this happens all the time, I would guess that either the barcode reader is faulty - do you have problems reading tape labels ? - or the label inside the unit has become damaged somehow...
