MSL firmware upgrade failure caused MSL non-operational.
Hi,
I have an FC MSL6060 with 4 LTO2 Drives. I tried to upgrade the firmware, with the latest firmware from hp.com. during the upgrade process, only two drives were upgraded successfully and the other parts - like the robotics and two other drives - were failed. after this unsuccessful upgrade, the OS sees only two LTO2 drives and does not see any tape library and the library itself. Can you help me please?

Re: MSL firmware upgrade failure caused MSL non-operational.
Hello,
can you access the webinterface of the MSL or of the NSR? How did you update the firmware?
Best regards,
Patrick

Re: MSL firmware upgrade failure caused MSL non-operational.
What is the current status of the library and how did you do the update?
It should be always possible to update the lib via the serial line.
Ask, if more help is needed.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
