MSL2024 Tape Library and P600 Array Controller

Hello All
My reseller advises me that I can configure my MSL2024 to run off of a P600 array controller in JBOD mode. Is this supported and where is Jbod Mode.

Im not 100% this is compatible i would rather buy a
416096-B21 - HP SC44Ge Int/Ext PCIe SAS HBA (Internal/External)

Also I think that the reseller meant to say about Jbod its that the tape are being load automatically after they are full this is called sequential mode. Anyway I think that the MSL should come with DPE software, so there is no need to use this mode.
