We have a MSL2024 with 2 x Ultr 920 drives connected to a Proliant DL 380 via U320e SCSI Adapter.
Now, each Ultr 920 drive is connected to a U320e SCSI channel. With this wiring I see media library and both drives from Backup Exec (fine) but when I run two identical backup jobs, both start at same time (prefect) using a drive each one (great) but... one of them finish in 5 minutes (wonderful) and other takes 7 hours, yes 7 hours (keep in mind that both backup jobs are the same).
My guess is that SCSI wiring is not best one.
Question: Should I connect only one drive to server and connected the second drive to first one?

Thanks. What about SCSI wiring? One drive to each U320e channel or both drives to one channel?
