MSL4048 x2 Jobs in "Data Protector Manager" fail if loader cartridge is accessed

We've got a weird problem, it seems that if we access the magazines from either MSL while jobs are running it can cause jobs to fail.. (perhaps its a Data Protetor issue)

Both MSL Lib Firmware's are 5.80/2.40e

4 x Ultrium 3-SCSI Firmware's are M63W

I personally would have thought accessing the magazines would have no impact on running backups or effect "Data Protector Manager" in anyway, however we're now leaving backups in the the MSL's for days while a huge job completes when we could be sending the media off in batches..

Any thoughts would be greatfully recieved..
