Solution
Hi Miguel.
I need a little more information from you.
Are you using an embedded NSR on the MSL5026, or is this the M2402 NSR?
There is a firmware update for either NSR that resolves an issue where drives/robotic arm would disappear and reappear.
The problem firmware was: 4.03.16
The newest firmware for the M2402 is: 4.03.21
Hopefully that is where your problem is, and you can just upgrade and be done!
Sincerely,
Brian Plume

Re: MSL5026 Always going offline/online on the Severs connect to SAN
Miguel,
check:
1. FC drivers, their settings (regisrty parms). Which HBA do you use?
2. switch: porterrshow output (check for CRC and 'enc in' errors for NSR connected port);
3. NSR log if it logs reboots.
BTW, does it happen for SAN connected disks if there are any?

Re: MSL5026 Always going offline/online on the Severs connect to SAN
I have a MDR (Module Data Router) with one fiber port and two SCSI ports.
I made the firmware upgrade and it fix the problem.
Thanks
Miguel Mendes
