MSL5026 Auto cleaning cycle

Hi all,

I enabled auto cleaning in tape library. How to define and view the frequency of cleaning cycle.

Hi,
I don't think there is any cleaning cycle to define. The drives is cleaned "on demand" (when a drive requests for cleaning). You should note that it is not recommended to use cleaning tape unless the drive requests for cleaning. Cleaning tape is abrasive and unnessecary use will cause head wear.

As drives has very little need for cleaning the cleaning tape is used with long intervals but I think you can fint in the library history logs if a drive has been cleaned.
