Re: MSL5026s2 controller error
Nsikan,
more detail will be necessary to understand your problem.
-SAN or SCSI?
-server(s) Operating system
-server vendor and model
-firmware of library and drive(s)
-firmware and model of SCSI/FC Router (if present)
-backup software and its release/patches
let us know
Claudio

Re: MSL5026s2 controller error
Nsikan,
I know nothing at all about OpenVMS, so I cannot give any hint about OS. However, you can get for free a very useful tool for troubleshoot your library and much more:
http://makeashorterlink.com/?X2A83380A
Install it, check your library and generate a LTT support ticket. Feel free to post the ticket here.
There could be several reasons for your problem: your SCSI ctrl, your SCSI cable and/or terminator, the library controller too. A check of OS logs and LTT ticket will be interesting.
Hope it helps
Claudio
