MSL6000 and MSL5000 Firmware

Thanks for the response.

I have a follow on question, couldb you explain how the library knows it is a MSL6000.
The problem I have is that I have a MSL6000 but when I browse to the library it reports itself as a MSL5000.

As mentioned earlier, the same firmware versions are used in both series of products.

The MSL6000 introduced the LTO drive types.

It you do the following:

OCP MENU>Maintenance>Reset Factory defaults

The firmware should set the model based on the drive type present.
