Re: MSL6000 with DP Restore error
Maybe login/password of the the user for the databse has changed since you last backed up or nay it does not exist yet , if you are doing a disaster recovery kind of scenario .

Re: MSL6000 with DP Restore error
We used to get a similiar error.
This happens when a network connection gets disconnected ( and may be re-connected) on the cell manager. When network cable is disconnected from Windows system, Windows completely resets it's internal TCP stack, which causes all active TCP connections are disrupted. DP's MMD loses the connection to the database and results in above error.
Typically, a reboot of cell manager shld solve the problem. If not, Please copy the 'omnirc.tmpl' file in omniback folder to 'omnirc' and add this entry.
OB2MMDBLOGINCHECK=1
Make sure to save the file in unicode format using notepad. Restart the server.
As mentioned by others, this is not a hardware problem, this is just a DP related issue.
Hope this helps

Re: MSL6000 with DP Restore error
I suggest you patch first and then see if you have a problem.
Thanks,
Scott
