MSL6030 Autochanger is not visible at HP-UX Server

Hi all,

I have dificulties to find the autochanger for MSL6030. When I issued the command ioscan I got an unknown device for MSL6000. Only I got the tape and the router.Find attached the output of this command: ioscan.
Also I need to know if there is a special driver to be added at the kernel of the HP-UX. I have the HP-UX Version 11.23 installed at PA-RISC Server.When I tried to configure the Data Protector V5.5 at the HP-UX Server, I found that Library is configured but I can not scan or format for tapes.Zoning is configured at SAN Switch, but I need to configure the Data Protector after finding the autochanger.

So please advise . .

Hi,

Add the drivers autoch en schgr to your kernel.
This requires a reboot

Hi all,

I fixed the problem by using the following :
#sam
at sam menu use Kernel Configuration, then go to Module.Search for schgr. I found it's state is unused.by pressing modifiying its parameter to static by clicking char "m", then system reboot.
