MSL6030 ROBOT_ATTENTION errors
We have just installed an OpenVMS stretched cluster over 2 widely dispersed sites using SAN connected storage. At each site we have an MSL6030 tape library connected to to the SAN via an Network Storage Router
To control the loading /unloading of tapes from tape library magazine slots we use the MRU ROBOT utility
When I use an MRU interactive command such as ROBOT LOAD SLOT 6 from a terminal session the robot works every time, moving the tape from slot 6 to drive 0.
When I use the same command in a batch backup procedure I get the a %ROBOT-E-ROBOT_ATTENTION error, and the tape is not moved and the backup fails
Any suggestions?

Re: MSL6030 ROBOT_ATTENTION errors
What is your batch file? I would suspect it of a syntax error. Does it work if you launch it from a prompt manually?
Else your environment settings in the natch job are incorrect. Use full paths to your command file(s).
