MSL6060 - Unknown Media Changer
Hi
Have a server running windows 2003 Server. Attached is a Library MSL6060 over SAN. I can see the Media Changer and both Ultrium 3 drives in Device Manager. I installed the latest hptapedrivers and the ultrium 3 drives are recognised correctly. only the media changer is listed as "Unknown Media Changer" in the device manager.
can someone tell me where i find the correct drivers to install?
thanks
regards
andre

Re: MSL6060 - Unknown Media Changer
Hi Andre,
The drivers file for the Media Changer should be part of the HPTapeDriversInstaller.exe package, available here:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=12169&prodSeriesId=316040&prodNameId=1849288&swEnvOID=1005&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=co-47872-3
I've just extracted the files from this and the file libxprmc.inf contains the details for the MSL6000.
Hope this helps,
Regards,
Rob
