MSL6060 configuration

Hi all,
my env is:
1 MSL6060 with 4 drive lto_ultrium2

every 2 drives we have a nr1200-router.

we would like to configure these on a SAN env...

The issue is:
if I configure:
the first nr1200 on the 1 switch
the second nr1200 on the switch n°2

I can use 2 drives per switch?
how can I use the robotics?

I appriciate any suggestion...
thanks

LF

Re: MSL6060 configuration

Lorenzo:

You can only use the robotics on one fabric. There is no provision for multipath/redundancy at this time.

My best suggestion is to keep a port free on the one fabric/san switch that has only the drives. Configure the port to be in a zone(s) just like if it were there this way if you ever lost the other fabric, you can just move the fibre cable and make relitively no zoning changes. Also, you can pre-configure the NSR so that it presents the drives/robotic controller to the proper WWID's (since you would not be using the other hba in each server).

Re: MSL6060 configuration

Nothing readily available. Someone else might have, but this is more of a "pre-planning" step that I would consider rather something that I read about. There might not be anything available.
