I have seen a few threads regarding the MSL6060 drive fetch problem.
I have a MSL6060 with a MSL5060 slave (drives are LTO2 and installed in MSL6060) and I am experiencing the same problems.
I was looking at the process of downgrading firmware to v5.07 (currently running 5.20) and the process starts by copying the .bin file to the library at the IPAddress/upload folder.
I am not sure how I should access this folder. I have tried ftp, http, etc, but I am not able to view the folder.
Is there a problem connecting to this folder when the library is in a master/slave config?
I also read I could downgrade using LTT, but I need a password to do so. The library is unfortunately not in warranty anymore, so I am not sure if HP will give me that password.
Can anybody recommend how to proceed with this?
Thanks a lot.
/Thomas

Re: MSL6060 drive fetch failure - upload firmware for downgrade
You should be able to use MSLUTIL to flash the firmware via the serial interface.

Hope this helps,
Regards,

Re: MSL6060 drive fetch failure - upload firmware for downgrade
Thanks a lot for the feedback.
I forgot to mention that this library is in a remote location and I am not sure if I will be able to connect a serial cable to any of the servers in that location.
Does anybody have the password needed to do this via LTT?
