MSL8048 and DP 6.11

Hi,

We got a new Library an Ultrium5 - MSL8048.
It is connected to our SAN and it is seen from all the servers (into the ioscan appear and the exchanger and the two drives paths).

I am configuring it under DP6.11 (cell manager HP-UX 11.v1) and for the Itanium I can see all the special files (robotic paths + drivers SCSI address) when configuring the device but for the PA-RISC (HP-UX 11v1) I can see only the robotic path and when I try to add the drive it comes out the error:

"No Data Devices detected
159:13043 "

So I force it putting the special file retrieved from of the ioscan (/dev/rmt/c4t0d0BEST). But as I try to initialize the tapes I got the error

"Device Address not found"
Has someone any suggestion?

You maybe need an updated driver for tapes that is aware of LTO 5 drives ... consider to install the latest H/W enablement patch bundle.

Yes,

I have the latest HW enablement for HP-UX 11i v1 installed

HWEnable11i B.11.11.0612.458 Hardware Enablement Patches for HP-UX 11i v1, December 2006

but it is really old and I don't know if I must install something else.

I know there are newer bundles.
Best idea would be to install all current patch bundles.
