MSL8089 - LX firmware names - what does LX Mean?
Hi All
I've got a MSL8096 Fibre Library and looking at various posts and L&TT the last update is 1130
So looking at HP Tape Tools we can down load
HP MSL G3 Seriers 1130
or
HP MSL G3 Seriers 1130
so whats the difference?
MSL8096_1130.frm 1818KB
or
MSL8096_LX_1130.frm 5375KB
So my question is apart from the size of the file - whats the LX stand for??

Re: MSL8089 - LX firmware names - what does LX Mean?
This is the same firmware for the library itself + library extender firmware (using this special part you can stack several libraries to a single unit).

Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
