MSL8096 partitions - number of slots/partition?

I have an MSL8096, with 4 x LT04 drives, and configured for 12 mailslots.

Virtual Library 1 has 48 slots, and virtual Library 2 has 36 slots

Is there any way to change this slot allocation e.g. 12 slots and 72 slots, 24/60 etc?

If I partition into 4 virtual libraries how many slots will each partion have? 24/24/24/12?

I have looked for documentation to answer this but failed to find any :-(

Thanks in advance

Re: MSL8096 partitions - number of slots/partition?

The Tape Library can have up to as many logical libraries as it has tape
drives.

Tape cartridges in one logical library cannot be shared with other logical libraries.

All logical libraries have access to the mailslot, if the mailslot is enabled. The Tape Library will prohibit a cartridge that was placed in the mailslot from one logical library from being moved into another logical library. The Library will allow a cartridge that was placed in the mailslot by the operator to be moved
into any logical library. If sharing the mailslot among logical libraries is an issue in your environment or is not supported by your backup application, disable the mailslot.

Attached is the library - magazine configuration.
