Storage Boards Cleanup
To make it easier to find information about HPE Storage products and solutions, we are doing spring cleaning. This includes consolidation of some older boards, and a simpler structure that more accurately reflects how people use HPE Storage.

Periandro,
IP address and net mask should be set up from the library's front panel. After you'll do this you'll be able to access library from web-browser entering its IP address.
Manuals are here http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DocumentIndex.jsp?contentType=SupportManual&docIndexId=3124&locale=en_US&prodSeriesId=34105&prodTypeId=12169

Re: Monitoring HP Sure Store E Tape Library by WEB Browser

I've already configured the Web-Based Library Administrator in my stations, but when I try to access from another station, the follow message appears in the browser:

"Applet fMainApplet notinitied"

What can I make?

These pages are using JRE (java runtime environment) to run its applets. Make sure you have at least 1.3.1_6 JRE installed on this host

Re: Monitoring HP Sure Store E Tape Library by WEB Browser

What operating system are you trying to use to access the web browser? What browser? Microsoft removed some capabilities in XP and as a result the Sun Java Plugin is often being used. The network interface on that tape library is not currently compatible with the Sun Java Plugin. If you have 1.52 firmware it should detect that plugin and run a non-java version.

If you are using Netscape 4.X it should always work fine. Netscape 6.X requires the 1.52 firmware revision.

Version 1.52 of what firmware? Of the interface card?
