Hi,
If I could add my two cents. I'm sold on LTO and the investment is well worth it. We are backing a gig in under 4 minutes. Life wasn't all this pretty, it took about 6 months to get the library stable, he had problems from fibre to drives not working. Make sure you buy something stable if not you will have nightmares with it.
Good things come to those who wait, "let the backups finish"
