Re: NSR Firmware upgrade
The map should include the nsr if you want it seen by the host
the mapping should look like:
Echelonbighost FC Port 0 Map
LUN Protocol Bus Device Specific Address Type Status Device Description
0 AF 0 Lun= 0 CTLR UP HP NS E1200-160
1 SCSI 0 Target= 1 Lun= 0 CHGR UP HP MSL6000 Series 0518
2 SCSI 0 Target= 2 Lun= 0 TAPE UP COMPAQ SDLT320 5555
3 SCSI 0 Target= 3 Lun= 0 TAPE UP COMPAQ SDLT320 5555

Re: NSR Firmware upgrade
Be aware that changing the map may cause addressing change in your Backup application

Re: NSR Firmware upgrade
get back to our hardware support team who definitely do not want to create a new map. According to them, the best way to upgrade is through FTP, despite HP Web site recommendation (which is through LTT).
This thread is closed for me.
