NSR1200 HANG WITH CLIENTS W2000 AND MSL5026
I have got the same problem.
The first problem my NSR1200 it hang, and I have got Clients windows 2000 my configuration is very similar that your.
The options in the agent fibre array informations and scsi informations are deactivated.
The configurations Ethernet is:
100 Auto in the Switch LAN and NSR1200
The systems hang time to time (1 -2 week) more or less.
The drivers HBA's 5-4.82A14, Proliant Support Pack 6.40 And firmware EVA 3000 2.004. Firmware NSR1200 5.3.0B
Can you help me ?

What is 'hanging'? The backup job that works with the NSR or the complete server? The subject does not match with the description in the text, that's why I am asking.
Does the NSR see the EVA -or- has the EVA any WWNs from the NSR recognized? The NSR can work as a fibre channel initiator and it does scan the fabric for targets - I always put the NSRs and storage arrays in different zones.
I see that the EVA firmware is quite old - are you sure that the fibre channel adapter firmware and driver versions are correct for that VCS version?
Anyway, you should get in touch with the HP support organization because there is a mandatory VCS upgrade for the EVA. This has a number of implications, so you should not attempt an upgrade 'just for fun'.
