Need to Upgrade HP Surestore E 10/180

Hi
I am currently using Tape library Hp surestore E 10/180 having Ultrium 1 drives. The current Drives are 6.
I have the foll queries:
My data is getting huge and either i upgrade the drives of get a new Tape libarary, cann i add more drives to this model. Any alternatives you can suggest.

Hi ajay, if it is a 10/180 then it will take 10 drives, there are installation instructions for adding further drives

HP surestore product will only allow you to add lto 1 drive, May be time to go for new products supporting LTO2 and LTO3, you will gain in capacity and speed.

Hi Thanks for the reply, can anybody help me in showing the individual drive usage in the library mentioned. I am using Netbackup 3.4 as the backup tool.

If you download the library and tape tools s/w from HP you can print a report of the usage of each drive. Another way to do it is, if you have configured an ip address on the library you can use your web browser with that ip address and connect to the library where there is a lot of useful information
