Netware and C5687A
Is there such a thing as a Netware 3.x driver for the C5687A? My company has a NW 3.12 server that originally had a c5683a external drive. It started failing on a regular basis so I tried swapping them out. When the server rebooted I saw a couple error messages flash by...something about "Driver not tested with this model, will try generic support" and another one about the driver not binding to the hardware. I am kind of a Netware noob so if I am asking a silly question I apologize. Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: Netware and C5687A
Netware 3.12 is very old. I think that you got NWPA support with the NetWare 3.20 version. Upgraing to 3.20 could help, but I dont't promise anything.
Most likly the firmware on the new drive is a different version compared to the old one.
If you could also post the startup.ncf and atuoexec.ncf files this might help.

Re: Netware and C5687A
Actually I spoke too soon. In spite of the errors I saw during startup, the drive appears to be working normally with my backup software. Thanks anyway.
