The rest of the messages are as follows:
1. Non-standard Autoloader config switches detected.
2. You do not appear to have the standard config switch settings.
3. This may be appropriate for your host configuration, but we advise you to check the manual
I'm sorry to appear dumb but I really do not have a clue what this message means and there is nothing in the manual (that I can find) and nothing in the forums that I can locate. please help me.

Solutionat the loader backsite is a little switch with 4 pins. there you can correct the loader options.
option 4 = 0
option 3 = 1
option 2 = 1
option 1 = 1
option 4 is on top, option 1 on bottom ;)
try these settings and post your result ... greetings chris

Re: Non-standard Autoloader config switches detected
if you have an original external case from HP...
you have to look where you can switch the scsi id... near there is a switch for aqutoloader options...
otherwise you have to unscrew the case...

Re: Non-standard Autoloader config switches detected
the switch goes over 4 but only 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 are real options...
try option 4
turn on your system and start L&TT...
otherwise if L&TT reports bad options try option 1
